There are 4 story types, Fairy tales, Myths, Fables and Legends.

1. Fairy tales are storys with fantastic creatures and things.
2. Myths are stories that explain natural phenomena.
3. Fables are story that teaches you a moral lesson.
4. Legends are Heros or people or thing that are made up.

My stories that I did for Fables were, The Leap at Rhodes: The story is about this man who tried to impress everyone about his leap in Rhodes, but then the people wanted him to prove it and the last Fable was the boy who cried wolf: Don’t cry out wolf and play practical jokes on people or somebody, they won’t believe you when something really bad happens, you will lose their trust.

The Fairy tales were Jack and the Beanstalk: It is about a little boy that was told to sell a cow for some money but ended up buying magic beans that made him make a giant beanstalk leading to the clouds with giants there and the gingerbread man: It is about an old lady making a gingerbread man biscuit that ended up by standing up then ran away.

The Legend was the immortal snake: It is about a person that saved a snake/demon that had to save the man that saved her.

And my last story which is a Myth is Maui and the Sun: It tells us how the sun goes slower now that it has been slowed down by Maui, his friends, his hook weakening the sun and a rope.

We learnt about Sir Apirana Ngata and gathered information about him.

First we got the task to learn and get some information about Sir Apirana Ngata and make a google slide or DLO.

Next we gathered information about Sir Apirana Ngata.

Lastly we put all of our information onto our google slide or DLO.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt a lot about Sir Apirana Ngata. I need to improve on finding more information. I did well on researching about Sir Apirana Ngata’s death.

I played Rippa Rugby and Tag for PE.

First we learnt how to play Tag with a ball and Rippa Rugby but both with strips.

Then we Played Tag, to play is to rip the strip of the persons belt, if all two belts are riped of then they are out!

Lastly we played Rippa Rugby, to play is to steal their strip and then give it back, but if they get tagged then the other team goes to where the coach is in a straight line. But when they get tagged 5 times then its the other teams ball.

I need to improve on chasing people so I could steal their tstrips and not hiding in the corner. I did well on defending the people from getting a point for Rippa Rugby. I enjoyed learning how to play the games.

We revised how to throw and catch

for the games we played.

First we revised how to throw the ball, to throw the ball is to hold the third lace with the finger next to your pinky finger then move your arm forwards then release the ball.

Next Miss White told us how to catch, to catch is to hold up your hands in a triangle then close your hands

Lastly we got in a circle with 2 piggys in the middle and could pass it to anyone in the circle, except for the people next to you, there was 2 balls.

I enjoyed learning how to catch and throw. I need to improve on catching throwing the ball. I did well on catching and throwing.

We created a video about our group slide about bees.

First we practised our script with no mistakes on the bee slide.

Next we made a bee script page to practise our script.

Lastly when we finished our script we started to record our scripts while saying it on a screen video recorder doing our scripts at the perfect time at a quiet place.

I enjoyed the video recorder when we were recording our script. I need to improve on my script because most of the words I said wrong. I did well on correcting my mistakes then started saying the right things.

We created a whale tail.

First we created a whale tail for our art.

Next when we finished our whale tail on our slide we then put our whale tail on a LS1 whale tail slide.

Lastly we made a whale tail on a piece of paper then took a photo of it than used it for this blog.

I did well on my whale tail in the slide. I need to improve on my whale tail on the piece of paper. I enjoyed making b0th of my two whale tails.

We learnt about patterns.

First we learnt about patterns.

Next we got patterns in slides, the patterns we had to use were, Shapes, Colours, Objects, Letters and number pattern, we had to do a answer page to.

Lastly we got a person in our class to read our Patterns but only our quistion slide then show them the answer page after they did the answer page.

Me and my group did a bee Script and learnt about bees and did a presentation of bees.

First we got and gathered information about bees.

Next we choose a script for each slide for our presentation.

Lastly we tryed to say our script with no errors for our presentation.

I enjoyed gathering information about bees and learning about bees. I need to improve on learning my script with saying no errors. I did well on gathering information about bees.
